(pg. 237)When I was reading this page, I was confused as to what exactly an aneurysm was or how it affected the story.But, as I was researching, the answer became clearer.Luis Cruz may be fictional, but his story is as real as many others that have had a similar situation.When I was reading the story of David Roscilo, the 22-year-old who died from a brain aneurysm, I felt connected to Luis’ character, and his family.Edward Bloor did a great job linking fictional to truth, because I felt as if Luis and his situation were real.I think that the millions of people that are victims to aneurysms would find this a glorious tribute to what they have gone through and what their families feel each and every day.
